It's either 'haha you're flat,' or 'your body brings into question what should be biologically possible.' Even if the show doesn't have fanservice, the inherent sexual nature of these designs result in massive amounts of fanart and straight up porn of people depicted as minors, and it's almost never called into question. I cannot remember the last time a recent shonen or isekai had just a normal looking cast of women. It's like it's utterly impossible to have variety in body types for girls in manga. The fact that this age was assigned to these characters, and was completely greenlit honestly makes me question the entire industry, not just some of these mangakas. These fucking children have the most sexually driven bodies it blows my mind. The female protagonists and side protags are mostly fifteen. I was trying to read Black Clover recently, but I had to stop because of how gross I felt just looking at some of these characters. I saw a post on here about two weeks ago about writers portraying creepy behaviors as quirks and small flaws ( ), and u/DramaticLolitoes talks about writers trying to normalize gross and perverted actions, so I won't regurgitate what they said about sexual harassment/assault in manga and anime.
